Jon Adamson joined the University and Auxiliary Operations in July of 2016. He provides critical communications, project management, event coordination, and analytical support to the Associate Vice President for Auxiliary Operations. He maintains the division's website and social media accounts, plans and executes all of the division's annual events, researches strategic issues, and takes and prepares minutes for the three University committees chaired by the Associate Vice President.
Prior to joining the University, Jon served as the Diocesan Administrator for the Episcopal Diocese of Northern Indiana for nine years. Beyond managing the office of the Bishop, he provided support as needed for various decision-making bodies and committees; designed and maintained the diocesan website; assisted with e-mail marketing and social media; and administered the health insurance coverage and retirement benefit plan.
Jon graduated magna cum laude from Hope College with a Bachelor’s degree in communications. While there, he served as captain of the men’s track and field team and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. He is an amateur woodworker and teaches a class in basic carpentry to area homeschool students.
Jon and his wife, Hollie, are the parents of three sons and reside in Niles, Michigan.
