Director of Licensing
Tomi Gerhold has been promoted to Director of Licensing, effective April 1, 2017.
Tomi joined Notre Dame's Licensing Department in May 2000, serving first as senior administrative assistant, licensing specialist, and then associate director before being named interim director in July 2016.
As director of one of the premier collegiate licensing programs in the country, Tomi is responsible for enhancing the University's commercial brand image; increasing retail exposure for University merchandise; ensuring the protection of Notre Dame trademarks; and increasing revenues derived from the program to support the University's academic enterprise. She manages the day to day operations of the department and acts as the primary liaison with the University's trademark licensing agency, Fermata Partners.
Tomi is a member of the International Collegiate Licensing Association and also serves on the University's Worker Participation Committee. Tomi holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Management from Bethel College.
Tomi and her husband, Eric, have one daughter, a student at Colorado State University.
