Coordinator, Projects and Programs

Colleen O’Connor


Colleen O’Connor has held the position of Coordinator, Projects and Programs since July 1, 2011. In this capacity, she is responsible for the development, implementation, facilitation and maintenance of division-wide initiatives that further the goals of staff engagement, teamwork and communication. She serves as a liaison with the seven unit directors within the division and chairs the Auxiliary Operations Communications Committee.

Prior to that, Colleen served as an Officer’s Assistant to two University Vice Presidents; the Vice President for Business Affairs (1991-1996) and the Vice President for Business Operations (1996-2011). Upon joining the University in 1989, she served as an administrative assistant in the Investment Office. Prior to coming to Notre Dame, she worked in Washington, D.C.

Colleen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in education from the University of Tulsa, and a Master’s and Ph.D. from the University of Notre Dame.

Colleen resides in Granger, Indiana.
